“The Pilot’s Final Words Before His Private Jet Went Down in Florida”

Newly Released Audio Reveals Pilot’s Final Words Before Fatal Florida Jet Crash

A devastating plane crash in Palm Springs, Florida, occurred around 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The aircraft, a Learjet 60 private jet, had departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was heading toward North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

But the journey took a tragic turn over Florida.

Video footage captured the aircraft plunging nose-first toward a residential neighborhood before erupting into flames. Thick black smoke soon filled the sky as emergency crews, including the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department and fire rescue personnel, rushed to the scene.

The impact left a large crater in the road, with debris scattered across the surrounding area.

According to BocaNewsNow, the aircraft made a sharp right turn before rapidly losing altitude. ABC News reported that the FAA documented a dramatic descent from 35,250 feet to 8,750 feet in just over a minute.

The exact cause of the crash remains unknown.

However, aviation attorney, licensed pilot, and former NASA aerospace engineer Mike Slack suggested that severe weather may have played a significant role.

Speaking to CBS Austin, Slack said the pilot appeared concerned about the aircraft’s conditions and was attempting to obtain permission to climb while encountering challenging weather.

He suggested that the available information pointed toward a possible weather-related incident, although the official cause had not yet been established.

Pilot’s Final Words Before the Florida Plane Crash

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis described the accident as a major tragedy during a news conference, while expressing gratitude for the rapid response of emergency personnel.

Now, newly disclosed air traffic control recordings are providing further insight into the aircraft’s final moments.

The recording, archived by LiveATC.net, captures parts of the conversation between the pilot and an air traffic controller shortly before the crash.

According to Fox 13 News, the pilot reported icing conditions, precipitation, and moderate turbulence while requesting permission to climb.

The pilot reportedly said:

“Minus 47 degrees Celsius. We’re managing the ice, but it is moderate turbulence. Now we’re picking up precipitation. We need to climb.”

Air traffic control acknowledged the request and instructed the aircraft to climb and maintain its assigned altitude.

But the situation soon deteriorated.

“We’re Descending 20,000 Feet Per Minute”

Shortly afterward, the pilot reported a rapid loss of altitude and declared an emergency.

The recording captured the following exchange:

“We’re descending 8,000. Mayday, mayday. We’re descending 10,000 feet per minute. Declaring emergency 722 Bravo Delta. We are in an oversea condition, descending 20,000 feet per minute.”

The pilot then delivered a chilling warning:

“We’re gonna crash into the ground.”

The air traffic controller responded:

“November two Bravo Delta. I’m here with you. Talk to me.”

The pilot continued reporting the aircraft’s descent and a steep banking angle.

The final moments of the recording included a scream before the audio fell silent.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and the recordings alone do not establish what caused the aircraft to go down.
