Fox News Channel’s Greg Gutfeld is, at this point, the king of late night comedy. He’s funny, millions tune in to watch him, he dominates the libs he competes with, he brings in tons of views from the coveted ad demographic. He’s great. And better yet, he knows how to trash the libs, particularly the clucking hens on The View.
Such is what is shown in the below, short video clip. In it, you can first see what far-left Joy Behar was saying on “The View,” and then it cuts right to Greg Gutfeld’s epic response to Joy. Be warned: it’s pretty funny, so don’t watch while driving, and you might want to sit down if you aren’t already.
As you will see, Gutfeld didn’t need a long monologue, a brilliant speech, or anything else complicated to bash Behar to bits. All he needed was a short little video clip of a cow flying across the road, a cow that was supposed to be Joy Behar; that was it and they succeeded in making Joy Behar look utterly ridiculous.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: was that Lizzo? Many people had the same question. “You wouldn’t believe how many people,” as President Trump might say. But no, contextually it was definitely Joy Behar the loon from “The View.” Adding some context to Gutfeld’s show and just how well he is doing, a celebrity blog noted that Gutfeld ratings had beaten Colbert at some point:
How well is Gutfeld doing? Well, Gutfeld’s ratings are beating Stephen Colbert and that was a big achievement! Just last month, in August, Gutfeld was sweeping all of the broadcast late-night hosts, CBS’ Stephen Colbert, NBC’s Jimmy Fallon, and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel with late-night show “Gutfeld!” Fox News Channel host, Greg Gutfeld, had his highest-rated week ever. “Gutfeld!” delivered an average total audience of 2.355 million viewers for the week ending August 12, outpacing “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (2.143 million viewers), “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” (1.318 million viewers), and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (1.084 million viewers).
Furthermore, dominating among adults 25-54, the key demographic valued by national advertisers, “Gutfeld!” also led among younger viewers. An average audience of 397,000 viewers is what the Fox News show delivered, followed by CBS’ Colbert (373,000 viewers), NBC’s Fallon (372,000 viewers) and ABC’s Kimmel (264,000 viewers). Besting Colbert in head-to-head matchups when both hosts had original episodes four nights out of the week, the Fox News win marks the third full week Gutfeld has led as the king of late night.
According to ratings data compiled by Nielsen, “Gutfeld!” easily outdistanced against the cable news competition, including MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle” (1.381 million viewers and 186,000 viewers in the key demo) and CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight” (just 665,000 total viewers and 146,000 in the key demo), per Forbes.
Gutfeld, when asked about his massive success and domination of late night comedy, said: “I’m interested in pulling people in who want to have a good time and are open to stuff, but a lot of it is just weird stuff from me.”
