EW has the exclusive first look at Josh Server and Lori Beth Denberg in Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell’s sequel to their beloved 1997 movie.
Buckle up, the new adventures of Ed and Dex start now! Well, on Nov. 22 — but EW can exclusively share the trailer and new images from the upcoming Good Burger 2.
Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson are back as the aforementioned dudes, reunited just in time to see their beloved fast-food chain attempt to modernize them out of their jobs. And it’s not just the two stars, both 45, back together again. All That alums Lori Beth Denberg and Josh Server also reprise roles they originated in the first Good Burger film.
Jillian Bell (Brittany Runs a Marathon) faces off against the best-friend duo as the corporate mastermind behind the “Mega Good Burger” expansion, with Lil Rel Howery (Get Out) executing her plan of replacing the employees with robots.
“Man, it is such a blessing,” Mitchell told EW in March as they announced the sequel to their 1997 movie, itself spawned from All That‘s popular “Good Burger” sketches that hit Nickelodeon in 1994. “It’s been an amazing journey for both of us. I don’t think we thought that we would be going back and doing Good Burger at this point, which is so beautiful and it has a special place in people’s hearts.”
“It is such a blessing to be able to be working with my brother again,” Thompson added. “He’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. When we spend hours upon hours upon hours, it’s just all laughs and good times. And I’m really excited to open this new chapter up — this reunited adventure we are going to go on together.”
Mitchell has promised “a lot of surprises” in the script, which is packed with cameos galore, including Nicole Byer, Al Roker, Carmen Electra, Flula Borg, Marsai Martin, Rob Gronkowski, Young Gravy, Kai Cenat, and many more.
“We just wanted to make sure that this was a fun watch for everyone who has watched us over the years,” said Mitchell. “I’m really excited to bring this to the world.”
Good Burger 2 premieres on Paramount+ this Nov. 22. Watch the trailer above.
