Queen B was supposed to perform at the DNC in August, though it never happened.
Beyoncé showed her support for Kamala Harris as she makes a run for the presidency.
The Queen B, who walked out with Kelly Rowland, joined Harris at a campaign rally on Friday in Houston, Texas, and gave a brief speech before introducing Harris to the stage.
“Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations,” she added. “We must vote, and we need you.”
This time, we were not fortunate enough to get a performance from the Houston native—unlike in 2016, when she performed at a presidential campaign rally for Hillary Clinton in Cleveland.
While Bey hasn’t outright endorsed the vice president, back in July, she allowed Harris to use the song “Freedom” during her presidential campaign. A month later, in August, there were whispers that Beyoncé would be a surprise performer at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, though it never came to pass.
