At 82, Braeden shared in a Facebook video that, despite feeling a bit under the weather, he continues to work out, albeit at a reduced intensity.
The diagnosis came during a checkup for prostate issues, where his urologist discovered high-grade malignant cells in his bladder. Despite this, Braeden remains positive and dedicated to his work. Known not only for his iconic soap opera role but also for parts in “Titanic” and “Den of Thieves,” he has continued acting on “Y&R” while undergoing a six-week immunotherapy treatment.
“I’m glad to be able to go to work,” Braeden said, expressing his love for acting and the joy it brings him to entertain others. He confidently asserts, “I will lick this,” showing determination to overcome his health challenge.
Recently, Braeden also made news for his remarks on CNN’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”, where he addressed Eva Longoria’s comments about her challenging experience on “The Young and the Restless,” suggesting her struggles were due to a lack of talent for the demands of soap opera acting.
