Dolly Parton fans have been left stunned after finding out the pie at Dollywood costs $229.
The amusement park based in Tennessee offers a wide range of Parton-themed goods, which is pretty obvious by its name, but perhaps the star of the show is none other than the park’s special slice of apple pie.
But some fans were less than impressed after seeing the price tag that comes with it.

In a now-viral video posted to TikTok by user @stonewall_kelsey, fans were given an insight into how much a visit to Parton’s personalized theme park would set them back, especially if they’re hoping to get their hands on one of these special pies and let’s just say you’ll be needing more than a ‘9 to 5’ to pay for one of these bad boys.
The pie, which is made from 40-50 apples, weighs in at an impressive 25 lbs and will cost you $229 to have – and yes, you also get to keep the skillet it comes in.

A slice, however, is only $20, which seems like a slightly more affordable option.
The clip, which has since been viewed 3.3 million times since it was posted, shows the user standing in line at Dollywood, zooming into the price board before giving fans a glimpse of the actual dessert.
Thousands of users took to the comments to comment on the sweet treat.
Some were shocked at the revelation.
“It better cover in gold for that price,” wrote one user, while another added that it would be a “hard pass” from them.
However, others thought it was a pretty good shout.
“I mean..it is 25 pounds to be fair. A normal one is 4ish,” said this person.

And this TikToker even made a good point about the skillet writing: “But if you get the pie you get to keep the skillet and it’s a fancy cast iron sooo…”
“Mmmmm that is 9.20/pound. Taking into consideration materials, labor, potentially specialized tools. It’s really not *that* bad of a price,” this user wrote, totalling up everything.
Someone else even compared it to Disney prices: “That is a good deal! Disney would charge $2000.”
I mean, if you’re a true Dolly Parton fan, then this one’s for you. But if you’d rather put that $200 towards your rent or bills, well, who can blame you?
