Office In Japan Is Made For Napping

There are certain things that we may enjoy doing during the day, at least when we have the opportunity to do them. For many of us, this includes taking a nap, and it is something that we may try to do every day if possible.

If you happen to work long hours in an office, however, your ability to take a nap in the middle of the day may be limited. That is, of course, unless you happen to work in the office shown below.

Power naps are known to be very helpful, but there are many companies that are not forward-thinking enough to realize it would be of benefit to their employees. They may frown on taking naps or perhaps even dismiss you from your job if you are caught taking one.

The Japanese company we talk about here, however, realizes that power naps are an important part of the day. That is why they welcome their employees to take a nap during the day.

In fact, they have chairs designed for that very purpose. It takes a little work, but the chairs convert from a seated position into a napping position very easily.

I don’t know what it would take for other companies around the world to adopt this attitude about napping at work, but I would love to work for a company that did it.
