An image is doing the rounds that features a wedding ring lost amongst some stones and leaves… can you find it?
I’ll be honest, Where’s Waldo? books used to stress me out and that’s probably why I haven’t attempted one for many years.
But now it seems like there are so many photos on the internet where you have to find something in the image, and I can never resist.
I am not ashamed to admit that I spent a solid 10 minutes staring at this latest challenge before I had to head to the comments to seek help.
Hopefully, you’re a bit better than me…
The image was shared on Reddit and appears to be a photo of some leaves and stones, but the uploader insisted that somewhere in there, is a wedding ring.
You’d assume that finding a shiny piece of jewelry would be easy, but if you’re like me, it’s completely derailed your day.
If you haven’t found it yet, how about some clues to help you along a bit?
Clue number 1: It’s sat on top of a leaf.
That probably isn’t as helpful as I thought it might be.
Clue number 2: It’s located in the central part of the image.
I’ll be honest I can’t think of any more clues besides that it’s by a rock but that is wildly unhelpful.
A person commented on the Reddit post: “Left of the dead center is a large, skinny leaf vertical in the picture that is kind of dark grey. At the bottom of that leaf is a brown leaf, the ring is at the tip of that brown leaf.”
Right, if you’ve found it then congratulations, but if you haven’t don’t worry – I shall reveal all.
If you can’t find it with the red ring around it then it might be time to call it a day.
It really isn’t helpful that the ring is pretty much the same color as the leaf that it’s sat on but if it stood out, it wouldn’t really be a challenge.
One person in the Reddit thread said: “I saw 3 things that looked like rings, came here to guess, then saw the hint and realized I was wrong with the first three things. I’m so bad at this game!”
A second person said: “It’s so funny because when I know the ‘zoom in on dead center’ trick everything becomes so easy. If I were in real life and lost my wedding ring in this ground pattern I’d probably lose my mind. Go you for spotting it!!!”
Sadly, the advice of looking at the center first came too late to one person, as they said: “My wife lost hers on a gravel path a few months after we got married. She’s never had one since.”
Did you manage to find it?
